Firstly, there are two voices to choose from, derived from the TEC Award-winning Aston Stealth. These are discrete signal paths, with no EQ presets or modeling in sight. You can select between two premium vocal voices without having to swap microphones.

Secondly, Apex operates in either passive or active mode; a built-in Class A preamp automatically activates when 48V phantom power is present, delivering a super clean 20 dB boost to ensure that live vocals cut through the mix like studio recordings. An aerodynamically tuned head further enhances on-axis focus. Apex aims to redefine how a handheld microphone can and should function. Once you try it, singers won't want to let go of this microphone.
