The case for the KANN ULTRA music player is made from high-quality, vegetable-tanned leather by CONCERIA WALPIER, perfectly tailored to fit the KANN ULTRA. The navy blue case provides excellent protection for the player and feels good in the hand. Founded in 1973 in San Miniato, Tuscany, the Walpier tannery has been in business for three generations and has a long tradition of producing leather goods based on its highly regarded vegetable tanning processes. The tannery exclusively uses raw hide leather imported from France and is a member of Vera Pelle, the Italian association of vegetable tanners. The tanning process typically takes 40 days and is practiced worldwide only by Italian tanners. For the navy blue KANN ULTRA case, Walpier uses Buttero leather. Buttero leather is produced through a walking process, making the surface soft and natural. Like other leathers used by Walpier, Buttero leather is made from the finest French hides, resulting in a dense texture and smooth surface. Thanks to the vegetable tanning method applied by Walpier, Buttero leather has a rich color with a perfect surface finish and is highly resistant to scratches.
