Astell&Kern ACRO CA1000T

The ACRO CA1000T from Astell&Kern is a headphone amplifier with an integrated music player, Bluetooth, and WiFi. The built-in battery makes the CA1000T portable, allowing it to be used not only with a HiFi system but also anywhere else, playing music for up to 11 hours without a separate power supply. On the front, there are unbalanced 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm as well as balanced 2.5 mm and 4.4 mm connections. The back of the CA1000T features various digital and analog inputs and outputs to integrate the CA1000T into your audio equipment.

In terms of amplification, the CA1000T has a triple-amp system, meaning you can choose between three different amplifier modes. The vacuum tube amplifier mode gives the CA1000T a uniquely warm and musical sound. The operational amplifier mode delivers a particularly finely resolved and dynamic sound. The hybrid amplifier mode enhances the detail resolution of the tube amplifier mode, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of both systems and experience a completely new sound character with analog charm and high-resolution detail fidelity.

The ACRO CA1000T is not only a powerful headphone amplifier but also has an Android-based music player built-in. For convenient operation, the touchscreen display can be tilted up to a 60-degree angle. Via WiFi, streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, Apple Music, Roon, TuneIn Radio, and Player FM podcasts can be accessed. Integrated Bluetooth 5.0 offers the ability to wirelessly output music to a Bluetooth headphone or speaker, as well as stream music from a smartphone or laptop to the CA1000T. Additionally, the CA1000T can be used as a USB DAC, significantly improving sound quality from your computer or laptop.
