Assa Abloy Electric SI lock 809-12 65mm backset 12VGS 100%ED version F
Product details
The electric security lock 809 is a self-locking panic lock featuring a split follower and an electrically controllable outside handle. The outside handle can be temporarily or permanently engaged or disengaged via the electronic control system.
The handle operates based on the fail-locked principle: when the lock is de-energized, the outside handle is uncoupled and does not function; when the lock is energized, the outside handle is coupled and works.
This security lock meets high standards in mechanical security due to its automatic self-locking function, the 20 mm hardened extension lock bolt, and a locking latch. It also complies with requirements for use with fire doors and is suitable for emergency exits according to DIN EN 179.
Key features include:
- Mechanical automatic locking system
- Mechanical automatic locking process control between latch and control latch
- Burglary-resistant with a solid bolt featuring a 20 mm throw
- Achieves burglary resistance up to resistance class 2 in suitable door systems
- Panic function approved in accordance with DIN EN 179
- Suitable for fire doors, with evidence of conformity in the form of a general appraisal certificate
- Electrically controlled outside handle, using a split handle spindle and outside handle
- Changeover function for unlocking with a key
- Monitoring functions for locked status, operation of inside/outside handle, and cylinder
Included in the package are one electronic security lock and one operating manual. Please note that the connection lead should be ordered separately. Strike plates are an integral part of DIN EN certification.
