Luciano Vistosi Design - Onfale Medio Table Lamp

Designer Luciano Vistosi grew up in Murano, where his family owned a glass factory that focused on producing industrial products. After his father's death in 1952, Vistosi abandoned his studies to start a company with his uncle and brother aimed at making products more suitable for modern design. This led to collaborations with designers such as Aulenti, Zanuso, Magistretti, Sottsass, Peduzzi Riva, Dal Lago, Meronen Beckmann, and Mangiarotti. However, after his uncle's death, the company was dissolved, and Luciano Vistosi dedicated himself to a career as a glass artist. Today, he is one of the most significant figures in Italian art.
