Montjuic Floor Lamp by Artemide
The Montjuic floor lamp was designed by Santiago Calatrava for Artemide. This floor lamp is as extraordinary and captivating as the spectacular architecture of the structural engineer and master architect Calatrava. He used painted polyurethane resin for the rod-shaped structure of Montjuic and opal white methacrylate for the lampshade. The light is indirectly diffused and emitted downwards as a ceiling floodlight. The light intensity can be adjusted via the foot dimmer on the power cord. Let yourself be enchanted by the perfect form, structure, and quality of the light.
Designer Santiago Calatrava - Montjuic Floor Lamp
Architect Santiago Calatrava designed the Montjuic floor lamp for Artemide, inspired by his television tower on Montjuïc Hill in Barcelona. This tall floor lamp combines a solid body made of painted technopolymer and a diffuser made of white methacrylate, which also reflects the ceiling floodlight slightly downwards. The aerodynamically shaped diffuser emits indirect and diffuse light and, thanks to the intensity regulator, creates an elegant and exclusive ambiance. For significant energy savings, both halogen and LED bulbs can be installed.
