Droplet LED Ceiling Light. When Ross Lovegrove creates a light fixture, the result is more of a light sculpture than a mundane, functionally driven light design. For the Italian manufacturer Artemide, Ross Lovegrove has designed a fixture with variable mounting options for ceiling and wall surfaces, crafted in perfect, high-quality aluminum. The permanently integrated LEDs are discreetly hidden in the droplet-shaped, high-gloss polished gondola, which hovers at a fixed distance in front of the reflector disc, resembling an imaginary water surface. The light radiates onto the circularly structured reflector disc, which gently diffuses it into the room. The sophisticated Droplet LED Ceiling Light complements its striking design perfectly with the similarly named mini version or the Mercury Wall Light, also by Artemide.
