Altrove LED Wall/Ceiling Light by Artemide

Altrove is a combination of ceiling and wall lights designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua for Artemide in 2008. The fixture is made of methacrylate and aluminum. Altrove measures one square meter but can be mounted on a wall or ceiling despite its size. The lamp features a direct light flow that is reflected by the clear wires, creating a unique illusion that makes it a striking detail in the room it occupies. With the included remote control, the Altrove can be easily operated and the lighting dimmed as desired. Altrove can be advantageously combined with multiple units of the same type to create interesting configurations in larger spaces.

Realized over an area of one square meter, the light flows in a fluid motion through transparent nylon cables and is reflected by mirrored surfaces, creating a unique structured volumetric effect. In the infinitely reflected square light of the Altrove ceiling light, millions of color effects emerge. There is no longer just one surface, but many or only "further" apparent perceptions of reality, leading to a new dimension.
