Portenta Vision Shield - LoRa®
The Portenta Vision Shield LoRa® brings industrial-grade features to your Portenta. With this hardware extension, you can run embedded computer vision applications, connect wirelessly to the Arduino Cloud or your own infrastructure via LoRa®, and activate your system for sound event detection.
The shield comes with:
- 1x 320x320 pixel camera sensor: Use one of the cores of the Portenta to execute image recognition algorithms with the OpenMV for Arduino Editor.
- Wireless 868/915MHz LoRa connectivity with long range: Connect your Portenta H7 to the Internet of Things with low power consumption.
- 2x on-board microphones for directional sound detection: Capture and analyze sounds in real-time.
- JTAG connector: Perform low-level debugging on your Portenta board or special firmware updates with an external programmer.
- SD card slot: Store your captured data on the card or read configuration files.
The Vision Shield LoRa® is designed to work with the Arduino Portenta H7. The Portenta boards feature 32-bit multicore ARM® Cortex® processors running at hundreds of megahertz, along with megabytes of program memory and RAM. The Portenta boards are equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth®.
