Product details
Overview
Advanced students can now quickly and easily create their own connected devices, known as the Internet of Things. They will learn how to build internet-connected objects through easily accessible introductory activities and 10 sustainability projects supported by technical and theoretical lessons. Each of these projects allows students to investigate and solve a real-world challenge related to one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Students will become familiar with design thinking methods that help them develop their own solutions to challenges such as urban agriculture, health monitoring, and water and waste conservation.
With the Arduino Explore IoT Kit Rev2, you can teach your students future technologies, design methods, and a deep understanding of real-world problems to build a sustainable future.
Learning Outcomes
The Arduino Explore IoT Kit Rev2 is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Internet of Things and encourage students to think about solving global sustainability challenges in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
After examining current academic and industry standards, we have identified key concepts that this kit should address, enabling students to learn how devices communicate and what tools are used to facilitate communication, data management, analysis, and computational thinking by using real sensors to capture meaningful data from the environment and alter it through the remote control of actuators like LEDs, buzzers, and displays via the cloud.
