Product details
The Liquid Freezer III is ready for immediate use thanks to its pre-installed radiator fans in a push configuration. The fan cables are concealed in the hose sheathing, allowing only one cable to be connected to the motherboard. With the included MX-6 thermal compound, you have everything needed for quick and easy installation.
Motherboard voltage converters often operate at maximum temperature when paired with power-hungry CPUs. To address the lack of airflow from a tower cooler, the Liquid Freezer III features a revised VRM fan. The 60 mm PWM-controlled fan provides almost silent cooling of the socket area in cases with insufficient VRM cooling, poor airflow, or during overclocking scenarios. This allows for a consistently higher load and a longer service life for the voltage converters.
Intel's Independent Loading Mechanism (ILM) can deform the CPU by pressing it into the socket at two points with over 40 kg of force, leading to stresses in the PCB, die, and solder layer between the die and the integrated heat spreader (IHS). Under high thermal loads, this can cause long-term issues. The patent-pending mounting frame from ARCTIC does not deform the CPU, significantly reduces mechanical load, is quick and easy to install, and allows the cooler to be secured onto the CPU backplate. The result is minimized mechanical stress on the motherboard and CPU, consistent cooling performance, and straightforward installation.
The Liquid Freezer III is equipped with a specially developed PWM-controlled water pump, optimized for both performance and noise. Thanks to the improved cold plate with an extended fin surface and optimized water channels, the Liquid Freezer III enhances performance while maintaining quiet operation.
