Arctic Case Fan Hub
Product details
The function of the Arctic Case Fan Hub is as simple as it is brilliant: it allows for the control of up to ten 4-pin fans with a PWM signal right out of the box. To set it up, simply connect the included 4-pin PWM cable to a 4-pin fan header on the motherboard and connect the SATA power cable to the power supply. Now, you can directly connect up to ten 4-pin fans to the hub and control them via a PWM signal.
Overview of the Arctic Case Fan Hub:
- Hub from Arctic for ten 4-pin fans
- Controlled via the PWM signal from the motherboard
- Power supply via SATA cable
- Cables and mounting materials included
PWM Control via Motherboard
With the 10-port fan hub from Arctic, you can operate and simultaneously control up to ten 4-pin PWM fans using just one 4-pin connection on the motherboard. The fan hub connects to a free 4-pin port on the motherboard and is powered via SATA from the power supply. That's it. All connected fans will now be controlled via a PWM signal. The speed signal from the first fan is read and passed on to the motherboard.
The separate power supply via the SATA power cable ensures a continuous power flow and prevents overloading the 4-pin port on the motherboard. For installation in the case, two self-adhesive Velcro strips and magnetic strips are included. These allow for flexible placement of the hub, for example, on the back of the motherboard tray.
