The Rescue 17 is a free replica of an American fire-fighting boat from Seattle. This semi-scale model is built to be true to the original while still allowing for personal creative input. The hull and deck are made from sturdy fiberglass and are fully painted. The bridge structure is also made from fiberglass, making it particularly stable. The Rescue 17 is delivered almost fully assembled - you only need to attach the mast with a screw. The Rescue 17 features a firefighting function, with a factory-installed water pump and a firefighting monitor that can rotate over 120°, controlled from the transmitter. Additionally, the nautical lighting and searchlights are operated via an internal switch. Included is the TTX491, a special remote control transmitter for ship models, which controls the driving functions, pump on/off, and the rotation of the firefighting monitor.
