Aqua Computer Aqualis ECO

The aqualis series expansion tanks are equipped with a borosilicate glass tube, which, in contrast to the commonly used plexiglass for tube expansion tanks, offers very high hardness and scratch resistance, very low thermal expansion, and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube of the 100 ml and 150 ml variants has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid of the aqualis series are made of Delrin, and the lid and base are connected by a stainless steel rod. A stainless steel deflector plate above the inflow opening in the expansion tank ensures good ventilation of the circuit.

The aqualis XT 100/150 ml variants feature an integrated plexiglass window in the base and provide space for the installation of an LED (type 5 mm, e.g., item 95025, not included) and are additionally equipped with electronic level measurement with USB and aquabus interfaces, a configurable alarm output, and an external temperature sensor input. The software aquasuite is available for download for monitoring and configuration. The four-pin aquabus interface also allows for direct connection to an aquaero 5 controller (not included). The alarm output can be configured either as an artificial tachometer signal for connection to a fan output with tachometer signal evaluation (e.g., from the motherboard) or as a switch output, for example, to switch an LED in case of an alarm. For alarm monitoring, both the measured fill level and the external temperature sensor input are available. The external temperature sensor input is compatible with all temperature sensors offered by Aqua Computer.

All 100 ml and 150 ml variants are also available with a nanocoating that allows water to simply bead off the inside of the glass tube.
