Aputure Amaran AL-F7

The AL-F7 is one of two luminaires with which Aputure sets a new standard for surface-mounted luminaires. The luminaire combines the latest LED technology and a robust design with a modern aesthetic. It features a high light output of 1500 lux at a distance of 100 cm. The color temperature can be adjusted within a wide range, from a warm 3200 K to a cool 9500 K. Another highlight is the high quality of light, with a CRI value of 95, approaching the optimal value of 100. These characteristics make the F7 luminaire an excellent tool for sophisticated lighting in video and photography.

The luminaire is infinitely dimmable, with brightness and color temperature adjustable via a knob on the side. It achieves its highest light output at a color temperature of 5600 K. A unique feature of this luminaire is its ability to adjust brightness within a range of 0 to 100%. The Aputure F7 offers various power supply options, including Sony NP-F series lithium-ion batteries, power banks, V-mount batteries, or mains power. Compatible Sony NP-F batteries include models NP-550 or NP-F970; however, batteries and power banks are not included. A charging plug is also required to connect the lamp to a socket, which is not included. A USB cable is provided for connecting power banks or charging plugs to the lamp's USB-C connector.

The light functions as a clip-on light for cameras with a flash shoe, including DSLR cameras, larger mirrorless system cameras, and video cameras. It can also be placed on a tripod for use as a stationary light source. The scope of delivery includes a high-quality aluminum ball head for attaching the light to a camera or tripod.
