Product details

The relay works with all PTC resistors according to DIN 44081, provided that their total cold resistance in series does not exceed 1500 Ω. The device operates based on the quiescent current principle, meaning that the measurement circuit is monitored for interruption. The maximum sensor voltage is 7.6 V. The measurement circuit is galvanically isolated from the mains due to the transformer used according to VDE 0551. With a low sensor resistance, the output relay is energized. When the nominal switch-off temperature (NST) is reached (sensor resistance becomes high), the output relay deactivates. The response value of the device is approximately 3 K with a tolerance of about ±8 °C. The drop-out value (switching hysteresis) is the response value minus 10%.
