The versatile PhotoCam Vario charger is designed for 3.6/3.7V or 7.2/7.4V battery packs and 1.2V NiMH cylindrical cells.

With this Ansmann Powerline Vario, you can charge nearly all Li-Ion and Li-Po battery packs. Whether you want to charge a battery pack for a digital camera, camcorder, mobile phone, or telephone, the Powerline Vario is the ultimate all-rounder thanks to its movable contacts (it can charge batteries up to approximately 56mm wide at the contact side). Additionally, it is capable of charging classic NiMH cylindrical batteries in Micro AAA and Mignon AA sizes.

The charger features many important functions: it automatically detects voltage and polarity, preventing reverse polarity, short circuits, or incorrect insertion of batteries. For NiMH batteries, it switches to pulse maintenance charging after the charging process is complete, keeping the batteries fresh and ready for use at any time. It also includes battery defect detection, LED charging control, overcharge protection, and a safety timer.

The LCD display provides information on the charging status in 25% increments, allowing you to see how far along the charging process is at any time. The PhotoCam Vario is also very practical for travel and on-the-go use. You only need one device to charge many batteries, and it is globally usable thanks to the USB power supply with wide-range input.
