Product details
The Panzerkampfwagen VI, better known as the Tiger II or King Tiger, was an improved version of the heavy Tiger tank. It was considered the best tank of the Wehrmacht during World War II. The 8.8 cm gun provided the King Tiger with tremendous firepower. The first 50 units were equipped with the turret developed by Porsche, after which only the narrow turret from Henschel was used.
The AMEWI Edition is an authentic replica in 1:16 scale. RTR - ready to run. The tank also features smoke and sound functions. The firing function is controlled via a joystick and push button, shooting 6 mm BB hard plastic projectiles up to 15 meters. Additionally, the model is equipped with an infrared combat module that allows for duels with other tanks from this AMEWI Edition. When hit by an opponent's tank, the affected tank shakes to simulate a hit. The model is powered by two strong motors that transmit their power through a multi-stage metal gearbox to the drive wheels. The gearbox is also encapsulated internally. All road wheels on the chassis are connected to the chassis with metal swing arms and are damped. The cannon can be raised and lowered, and all control functions are proportional. This authentic model, with its camouflage paint, is on par with the real tank. The model also features a lighting system, and the entire package meets the latest technological standards. The electronics are at version 7.0, and from now on, we will supply all models with a modern LiPo battery of 1800 mAh and 7.4 V. A suitable LiPo charger is also included in the set. The model was tested for functionality before packaging, and a functionality report is included with the model.
