Alphacool WAC Core 1 Aurora Carbon

Alphacool presents the Core 1, a new generation of CPU water cooling. The latest desktop processors are continuously becoming more powerful, but they also generate more heat. The Core 1 reliably addresses this issue with its completely new 3D jet plate, which is also used in industrial applications. This CPU water cooler, made entirely of metal, impresses not only with its sleek appearance but also features a new mounting system that simplifies installation.

With the Core 1, Alphacool combines the best of both worlds. In addition to the new 3D jet plate, Alphacool returns to its roots by using a proven cross-slot technique to evenly distribute the coolant over the redesigned cooler base. Inside the cooler, O-rings ensure precise water flow for effective cooling. The housing of the Core 1 is made from a high-quality brass block and features nickel-plated connections. The also nickel-plated copper base of the cooler has been enlarged to ensure complete coverage of large CPUs.

The mounting system has also been revised. Compared to previous Alphacool models, it requires fewer screws. First, the backplate (Intel) is pre-assembled with four spacers. Then, thermal paste is applied to the CPU. Next, the appropriate mounting frame is placed on the CPU cooler and secured with four nuts on the spacers.

The functional and elegant design is a key element of Alphacool's Core series. The nickel-plated connections and subtle contour stand out against the high-quality housing with a carbon cover. The rounded corners give the overall appearance the perfect touch. The Core 1 is available in various color options as well as in subtly illuminated aRGB Aurora models.
