Alphacool Ice station 40 DC-LT pump attachment with compensation tank

The Eisstation 40 DC-LT is part of the Alphacool Enterprise Solutions series. The combination of pump top and expansion tank has been designed to be directly mounted onto a radiator in compact servers and workstations. Depending on the installation variant, the Eisstation 40 DC-LT can even fit into 1U server cases.

The compact unit consisting of the pump top and expansion tank measures only 6 cm in length, 4 cm in width, and 4.1 cm in height. The system is designed to be mounted directly onto a 40 mm Alphacool X-Flow NexXxoS radiator. Despite its compact size, the expansion tank can hold nearly 29 ml of liquid. Since the Eisstation 40 DC-LT is directly connected to the radiator, the radiator acts as an extended expansion tank. To prevent air bubbles from reaching the pump, a special filter has been integrated.

The package includes a double nipple that allows the Eisstation 40 DC-LT to be mounted directly onto a NexXxoS X-Flow radiator. There are four G 1/4" threads in the area of the expansion tank that function as IN connections. This allows the Eisstation to be mounted either at the side inlet of the radiator or at the front connections of the radiator. As a result, the Eisstation 40 DC-LT, along with a NexXxoS 40 mm X-Flow radiator, fits perfectly into a 1U server rack.

The pump is easily mounted to the Eisstation 40 DC-LT with two screws. It is important to ensure that the O-ring is properly seated before mounting the pump.
