Alphacool HardTube 16mm 4x 80cm

HardTubes are very popular among users. Those who prefer clean and clear lines in their computer choose them for the water cooling loop. The majority of HardTubes are clear and transparent. Alphacool offers an interesting alternative with the Carbon HardTube compared to the common variants made of PETG or acrylic.

Material: The HardTubes are made from CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic). The smooth surface and the structure of the carbon laminate give each water cooling system a unique appearance.

Processing & Assembly: The Carbon HardTubes (CFRP) cannot be bent. For a precise fit, the tubes must be cut to the appropriate length. A pull saw suitable for processing carbon (CFRP) should be used for this purpose. To ensure straight cutting edges, it is advisable to use a saw guide. When shortening the tubes, care should be taken to smooth the cut edges with a fine file or sandpaper, as sharp edges can damage the O-rings of fittings. For connecting the tubes, Alphacool's Eiszapfen HardTube fittings in the appropriate size are suitable. After assembly, the tubes should be rinsed for cleaning. Distilled water is best for this.

Note: When working with carbon tubes (sawing & filing), it is important to wear protective gear. The use of safety goggles, an FFP2 mask, and gloves is advisable. Additionally, work on the HardTubes should only be carried out in well-ventilated areas or outdoors.
