Alphacool HardTube 13mm 4x 80cm

HardTubes are very popular among users. Those who prefer clear and clean lines in their computer choose them for the water cooling loop. The majority of HardTubes are clear and transparent. Alphacool offers an interesting alternative with the Carbon HardTube, which stands out from the common variants made of PETG or acrylic.

Material: The HardTubes are made from CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic). The smooth surface and structure of the carbon laminate give each water cooling setup a unique appearance.

Processing & Assembly: The carbon HardTubes (CFRP) cannot be bent. For a precise fit, the tubes must be cut to the appropriate length. It is recommended to use a saw suitable for processing carbon (CFRP). To ensure straight cut edges, using a saw guide is advisable. When shortening the tubes, care should be taken to smooth the cut edges with a fine file or sandpaper, as sharp edges can damage the O-rings of the fittings. Alphacool's Ice Spike HardTube connectors in the appropriate size are suitable for connecting the tubes. After assembly, the tubes should be rinsed for cleaning, preferably with distilled water.

Note: When working with the carbon tubes (sawing & filing), wearing protective gear is essential. It is advisable to use safety glasses, an FFP2 mask, and gloves. Additionally, work on the HardTubes should only be carried out in well-ventilated areas or outdoors.
