Alphacool HardTube 13mm 4x 80cm

HardTubes are very popular. Those who prefer clear and clean lines in their computer choose them for the tubing of the water circuit. Most HardTubes are clear and transparent. Alphacool offers an interesting alternative to the common variants made of PETG or acrylic with the Carbon HardTube.

Material: The HardTubes are made from CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic). The smooth surface and structure of the carbon laminate give each water cooling system a unique appearance.

Processing & Installation: The Carbon HardTubes (CFRP) cannot be bent. For a precise fit, the tubes must be cut to the appropriate length. It is advisable to use a pull saw suitable for processing carbon (CFRP). To ensure straight cutting edges, using a saw guide is recommended. When shortening the tubes, care should be taken to smooth the cut edges with a fine file or sandpaper, as sharp edges can damage the O-rings of the fittings. To connect the tubes, Alphacool's Eiszapfen HardTube fittings in the appropriate size are suitable. After assembly, the tubes should be flushed for cleaning. It is best to use distilled water for this purpose.

Note: When working with the carbon tubes (sawing & filing), it is important to wear protective gear. The use of safety glasses, an FFP2 mask, and gloves is advisable. Additionally, work on the HardTubes should only be carried out in well-ventilated areas or outdoors.
