The D-Plug from Alphacool's ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS series with 2 G1/4" external threads offers the ability to connect components such as GPU and CPU coolers or radiators within a water circuit. What’s new? Unlike double nipples or similar adapters, the ES D-Plug is pushed in rather than screwed. The necessary stability is ensured by two closely spaced O-rings on the male component of the connection. Of course, the connection has been extensively tested in the Alphacool laboratory, resulting in the D-Plug being completely leak-proof up to a maximum pressure of 1.5 Bar and not coming loose.
Usage possibilities: Alphacool's ES D-Plug allows for easy connection of water cooling components such as graphics card and CPU coolers or radiators. Since the connection is only pushed in and not screwed, installation and quick replacement are straightforward. The ES D-Plug features a variable length. By pulling apart the connection, an extension of up to 15 mm can be achieved. This flexibility allows for compensating inaccuracies in system setup and prevents hoses from twisting during installation. With the use of the D-Plug, connecting water cooling elements in tight spaces is also possible.
The right size for every application: The ES D-Plug is available in lengths of 20 mm, 25.5 mm, and 31.5 mm, optionally in brilliant chrome or matte black. Replacement O-rings in three different colors are included.
Application notes: To ensure the necessary stability and tightness of the connection, both O-rings of the male component must be fully seated in the female component.
