Alphacool ES Big Inline particle filter 2x G1/4" IG

The ES Big Inline 2x G1/4" IG particle filter from Alphacool's Enterprise Solutions series is integrated into the cooling circuit and allows for the filtration of potential dirt particles that may arise from contaminated coolant. Thanks to the Big Inline particle filter, damage to the pump and other components due to contamination is nearly eliminated.

Usage
Depending on the available space, the ES Big Inline particle filter can be positioned anywhere within the server case. The filter must only be used upright on the acrylic cylinder with the IN/OUT connections at the top. A horizontal positioning is not possible.

Connection Options
The particle filter is equipped with 2x G1/2" connections (In/Out). The package includes additional adapters that allow the filter to be easily converted to 2x G1/4" connections using a hex key.

Function
Due to the large surface area of the mesh filter, the flow rate of the coolant within the particle filter decreases significantly, allowing suspended particles to settle slowly at the bottom. However, the reduction in flow rate within the filter does not adversely affect the overall flow of the water circuit.

Maintenance
The particle filter features a crystal-clear acrylic cylinder that captures suspended particles and provides a visual inspection of the contamination level. The large volume of the cylinder and its resulting capacity for dirt particles significantly extend maintenance intervals. When installing the ES Inline particle filter, a ball valve can be placed before the IN connection and after the OUT connection. This greatly facilitates the removal of the particle filter during maintenance (cleaning).
