The Alphacool Premium Sleeve is made from paracord, making it superior to many other types of sleeving in several ways. Compared to fabric and plastic sleeves, it is significantly more opaque, while still allowing the cable to remain more flexible at the end than, for example, with plastic sleeves. This makes it easier to shape the cables into the desired form and thus easier to route them. The increased opacity is particularly beneficial when tight bends are required.
In terms of processing, there is no need for the usual heat shrink tubing. Simply melt it at the contact point, press it down, and pull it tight to the other side of the cable, then repeat the process. The sleeve will be securely in place and will not slip.
