Allen & Heath Zed-12fx

The ZED12FX features nine primary channels: six mono and three stereo. The mono channels are equipped with XLR inputs for microphones and 1/4" jacks. All microphone inputs can be globally powered with phantom power. The three stereo channels offer dual tone control without a mid-band and a gain range from silence to +15 dB.

The ZED12FX's effect processor provides a total of 16 effect types in 24-bit stereo. It offers a variety of effects such as chorus, reverb, flanger, and more. The selection and operation of the effects are managed via two buttons in combination with an LED chain, making it simple and intuitive to use. The delay effect, also present on the ZED12FX, features a handy tap function that allows you to perfectly adjust the delay to the song.

Thanks to the USB interface, the mixer can be easily connected to a Windows computer or Mac. Drivers are not required, as the device is "plug-and-play" capable. The sampling rate can be set to 32, 44.1, or 48 kHz. If the standard configuration of the mixer is not altered, the main mix signal goes directly to the computer. However, the aux and FX signals or the record bus can also be sent to the computer. When the effect signal is output via USB, the mixer can also function as an effects unit.
