The Align T-Rex 650X features a unique frame design with a narrow upper frame and a wide lower frame, providing ample battery room. This design results in an incredibly strong frame structure, ease of repairs, and a variety of battery options. Typical battery selections include 6s 22.2V 5000-6000mAh for intermediate flight or 12s (2x 6s 22.2V) 3300-3500mAh for 3D flight LiPo batteries. The 650X incorporates several new concepts, such as an updated quick release battery tray system, vivid colors for both the canopy and tail fin, and magnetic canopy mounts. Flight performance combines the high stability of 700-grade helicopters with the high agility of 600-grade helicopters. With the included 800MX brushless motor, the 650MX outperforms some 700-class models.
