The M1 Active MK3 studio monitors use a new 5-inch aluminum woofer that is lighter and stiffer than typical fiber-carbon, paper or Kevlar woofers. This offers not only an even faster transient response, but also a more linear reproduction in the bass and midrange. A precisely designed waveguide ensures controlled dispersion of the high frequencies. This ensures an extended sweet spot, but also protects against uncontrolled sound refraction at the same time. The specially designed housing prevents inherent vibrations.

The wide range with a low-end up to 45 Hz provides sufficient power for most applications without an additional subwoofer.
