The case of the AKKO 5075S Barebone keyboard is specifically dampened with multiple layers of foam and a silicone mat in the lower half of the housing. The elastic damping refines the sound profile of the keyboard and decouples the PCB from the case. The stabilizers consist of a POM outer shell and a precisely fitting stem made from a TPU and POM plastic blend. The soft plastic and minimal play prevent annoying rattling and ensure an authentic sound.
