AKG WMS420 Presenter Set 530-559 MHz BA

The AKG WMS420 Presenter Set is a professional multi-channel wireless microphone system. It includes the wireless bodypack transmitter PT420, the wireless stationary receiver SR420, and a clip-on microphone C417 L.

The C417 L clip-on microphone is particularly discreet and offers excellent speech intelligibility. This condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern is easily attached to the speaker's clothing with a clip. Due to its wide frequency range and linear audio transmission, the C417 L is also well-suited for singing and theatrical applications.

The diversity receiver SR420 ensures a reliable reception of the audio signal. Two detachable antennas on the back of the receiver provide maximum flexibility and allow for the use of optional antenna accessories. The reception quality of the two antennas is continuously compared using sophisticated algorithms, and only the strongest radio signal is used. This guarantees optimal RF stability without disruptive dropouts.

The PT420 bodypack transmitter is particularly small and lightweight. With just one AA battery or NiMH rechargeable battery, the wireless transmission can last up to 8 hours. The input level of the connected microphone can be adjusted directly on the bodypack transmitter. Integrated charging contacts allow for direct charging of the transmitter in the optional CU400 charging station, which can conveniently charge and securely store up to two transmitters.

Both the SR420 receiver and the PT420 bodypack transmitter operate within a switching bandwidth of up to 30 MHz. Up to 8 channels can be operated simultaneously in the UHF range. The system is also available in license-free frequency ranges.
