Product details
The C414 has been one of the best and most popular large-diaphragm condenser microphones in the world since its release in 1971. The C414 XLS is based on the sound character of the legendary C414 B ULS, the longest existing C414 model to date. It is particularly suitable for high-quality miking of instruments. More and more often, the C414 is also used for demanding live productions.
Optimised for this wide range of applications, the current version of the C414 XLS not only has 9 directional characteristics for the best possible sound. A Lock Mode protects against unintentional setup changes by a key lock. The Peak Hold LED reliably indicates overdrive of the electronics, even with the shortest signal peaks.
In the tradition of its valued predecessors, the C414 XLS is convincing in terms of functionality, performance, user-friendliness and the comprehensive range of accessories. The new, improved features have been developed to meet the ever-increasing demands of recording studios, stages, radio and TV studios without changing the typical sound quality of the C414.
