The set is determined using a sophisticated computer algorithm that compares the measurement data of thousands of microphones. The two C414 microphones matched in this way differ in terms of sensitivity and individual frequency response in cardioid mode between 300 Hz and 8 kHz by less than 1 dB.

These are the prerequisites for stunning, three-dimensional recordings. When used for stereo recordings, a good and stable balance is achieved without frequency-dependent shifts in the panorama.
