The AKG C411 is a condenser microphone (contact pickup) designed for capturing the sound of acoustic string instruments. It is directly attached to the instrument and picks up sound from the surface of the resonating body.

The frequency response of the AKG C411 is specifically tailored for acoustic string instruments. The sound of the instrument is reproduced authentically and very naturally. Since acoustic instruments vibrate differently at various points, the tonal quality can be varied depending on the sound pickup location. The necessary adhesive rubber for attaching the pickup to the instrument is included. It is reusable and safe for wood, plastic, and metal surfaces.
