The AKG PCC160 is a professional boundary microphone and is considered the industry standard for stage floor mics. It can handle sound pressure levels of up to 120 dB SPL without distortion. A bass roll-off switch allows for adjusting the low-frequency response for different applications. The AKG PCC (Phase Coherent Cardioid) technology utilizes a subminiature transducer that maintains phase coherence up to the highest frequencies. This ensures a wide, balanced frequency response without phase overlaps. The AKG PCC160 features a supercardioid polar pattern, which enhances feedback rejection and minimizes sound coming from the rear. The output signal is transmitted via a short cable to a 3-pin mini-XLR, facilitating cable routing. An adapter cable from 3-pin mini-XLR to XLR connector is included.
