Product details

The AKG P220 is an excellent studio microphone for vocal and instrument recordings. It has a balanced and warm sound. Especially singers with thin voices and string instruments benefit from the sound characteristics of the AKG P220 – the recordings sound fuller and warmer. With its cardioid pattern, the P220 is particularly suitable for recording individual instruments and singers. It isolates the sound source and reduces background noise. Additionally, guitar amps and drums can be captured thanks to the switchable pad.

The AKG P220 handles sound pressure levels up to 155 dB. Disturbing footstep noise or low-frequency sounds can be effectively suppressed with the switchable bass filter. Its all-metal housing makes the AKG P220 particularly robust, allowing it to be used as a stage microphone as well.
