Akasa Newton S6T

The Akasa Newton-S6T case has been designed for 6th generation NUC boards, allowing it to be used either flat or directly mounted to the VESA mounts of a monitor. Specifically tailored for these NUC boards, it is very space-saving and, above all, flat in design, but it also brings a very elegant appearance to the table or behind the monitor, in addition to its practical features.

The front made of brushed aluminum makes the black Akasa Newton S6T a discreet yet stylish companion, fitting beautifully into any HiFi setup as an HTPC enclosure. The front is only interrupted by two USB port openings, an audio jack, and a slot for mounting an IR receiver. This allows for remote control of the installed system – ideal for a living room PC.

The top and outer edges are almost entirely equipped with aluminum cooling fins, serving the purpose of allowing the case to act as the cooler itself, completely eliminating the need for fans. This means that the NUC system operates silently in the Akasa Newton S6. The Atom CPU makes direct contact with a surface of the case for optimal heat transfer.

Thermal paste is included for ideal heat conduction. Additionally, VESA mounting screws, motherboard screws, rubber feet, and all necessary cables and accessories are included to get the mini system up and running (external power supply must be purchased separately!) and to mount it on a VESA spot. The heat generated is then evenly transferred into the case via the heatsink plate and dissipated to the surrounding air through the fins – absolutely silently!
