Akasa external M.2 NVMe enclosure, USB 3.2, aluminium

With the external M.2 SSD enclosure, Akasa offers a practical chassis for fast SSDs. The silver aluminum casing is extremely robust, allowing SSDs along with stored data to be transported safely and securely. Additionally, a handy carrying bag is included for transport.

The enclosure supports SSDs in the 2230 to 2280 format and the NVMe protocol for particularly high speeds. The maximum possible data transfer rate is 20 Gbit/s. A connection between the enclosure and PC is established via USB-C. The aluminum casing features cooling fins on the outer shell. This allows the installed SSD to dissipate heat to the chassis through a thermal pad, providing passive cooling. Thanks to this clever design, the SSD can maintain high transfer rates consistently.
