Product details

AESUB - Transparent - Scanning Spray Properties of AESUB Transparent 3D Scan Spray: AESUB transparent is a new scanning spray that temporarily mattes shiny surfaces with a transparent film. This allows optical scanners to capture not only the surface contours but also the colour values of the measured object at the same time. Since conventional scan sprays produce a white coating, the capture of colour information was not possible when using previous spray variants. AESUB transparent contains no pigments and is also free of titanium dioxide, which is hazardous to health. The spray produces a coating thickness of about 8 to 15 µm. The coating evaporates after about 4 hours without the need for cleaning. Similar to the other sublimating AESUB scanner sprays, AESUB transparent can be applied directly to the area to be scanned. AESUB transparent is used in 3D scanning when the colour information of an object is to be captured in addition to dimension and contour. Especially when reverse engineering complex parts with extensive colour information, AESUB transparent simplifies and accelerates the scanning process considerably. Reference points, such as the AESUB dots, also adhere to the transparent matting layer and can be easily removed after scanning.
