Aeronaut Steam tug Südersand

The Südersand is a model of a small steam tugboat in a scale of 1:20, typical of tugs from the 1920s and 1930s. The kit is distinguished by the use of state-of-the-art laser technology and high precision fitting. The hull is made of vacuum-formed plastic, while the superstructure is constructed from laser-cut wooden parts. High-quality etched brass parts allow for fine detailing of the model. There is ample space in the voluminous hull for the entire RC installation. A smoke generator can also be optionally installed. The model can be equipped with lighting as an option. The chimney is foldable, just like the original, and can be tilted with a servo. The kit provides for propulsion with conventional brushed motors, as well as modern outrunners. The kit includes a large, vacuum-formed plastic hull, laser-cut wooden parts, a ship shaft and propeller, etched parts, fittings such as vents, lifebuoys, fenders, towing hooks, lighting fixtures, and a comprehensive 3D building instruction manual. The kit is suitable for advanced model builders and will be available from mid-November. Pre-orders are already being accepted.
