Safety rope with integrated fall brake
The fall brake significantly reduces the impulse that occurs when the rope is suddenly loaded. This sudden loading happens whenever the primary safety fails and the secondary safety is engaged. The red color marking serves as an indicator for the condition of the safety rope. In the event of a large sudden load, the loop contracts and the color marking shifts.
