Product details
You are ready to build something cool and internet-connected. All you need is this starter kit, which provides you with many components that fit well with the service and are the most common sensors and actuators you could wish for. Detect light, motion, humidity, temperature, and more, and then send it for storage on Adafruit. Let LEDs light up, make sounds, and move a motor when a trigger is detected.
This package is designed for individuals who want to use the new Adafruit Feather Huzzah with the ESP8266 WiFi microcontroller and feel comfortable exploring the IoT with this platform. A Feather Huzzah development board is included. An Arduino or another microcontroller is not required.
This package does not include a standard USB Micro-B cable (you can use any cable you have, as long as it supports both data transfer and charging, not 'charging only'), a breadboard, or a LiPo battery (take your project on the go!). You will need a USB cable for programming and debugging your Huzzah; either USB or a LiPo battery to power the Feather Huzzah. You might also want a full-size breadboard and some jumper wires. Some soldering is required to assemble the Feather Huzzah ESP8266 and the HDC1008 sensor.
This package includes:
- Adafruit Feather Huzzah with ESP8266 WiFi
- Quick vibration sensor switch (easy to trigger)
- DHT22 temperature sensor
- PIR (motion) sensor
- Magnetic contact switch (door sensor)
- Micro servo
- Huzzah Starter Pack components bag:
1x breadboard-friendly SPDT toggle switch
1x diffuse RGB (three-color) LED
1x piezo buzzer
1x photoresistor light sensor
3x 12mm tactile switches
1x diffuse 10mm red LED
1x diffuse 10mm green LED
1x 10K trimpot
5x 10K 5% 1/4W resistors
