Acer relies entirely on plastic for the casing, which is well made on the one hand, but tends to give way in some places on the other. The maximum opening angle of the somewhat wobbly hinges is around 145°. The weight of 2.1 kg is based on the predecessor, which is visually similar but not quite the same.
