The RCD/MCB switch (RCBO) provides protection for persons and property as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. It ensures protection of single-phase circuits against overload and short-circuit currents, as well as protection against sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a smooth DC fault current component of up to 6 mA to earth. Additionally, it offers fault protection (protection against indirect contact), additional protection (with I?n = 30 mA), and fire protection (with I?n = 300 mA).
The product standards IEC/EN 61009-1 (VDE 0664-20) and IEC/EN 61009-2-1 (VDE 0664-21) are met. Areas of application include household, commercial, and industrial uses. The extensive range of accessories provides everything needed for installation tasks. Numerous approvals make the DS201 suitable for worldwide use.
Rated switching capacity according to IEC/EN 61009 Icn = 6 kA. The RCBO DS201 A Type A is single-pole protected (MCB) and two-pole switching.
