As an interface between the KNX system and a heating or cooling generator. The temperature setpoint or setpoint adjustment can be transmitted to the heating/cooling generator via an analog output (0-10 V). The setpoint itself is received via KNX. The device can monitor the status of the heating/cooling generator (via potential-free contacts) through two binary signal inputs and send this information to the KNX bus. The device features a relay output (5 A) that can switch the heating/cooling generator on or off. With an additional relay output (5 A), the pump of the heating/cooling generator can be turned on and off. The status of the pump can be monitored via 3 binary signal inputs (via potential-free contacts), and this feedback can be incorporated into the pump control. For advanced diagnostic functions and improved commissioning, the ABB i-bus tool can be used.
