Product details
With its improved optics compared to its predecessor and robust build quality, this lens is particularly suited for close-up subjects. The standout features of this prime lens include a maximum magnification of 1:1, an exceptionally close minimum focusing distance of 17.5 cm, and a design that achieves high sharpness and clarity in details across the entire focus range. Thanks to manual focusing, you can make very precise adjustments to the focus. A 9-blade diaphragm inside the lens ensures a pleasant bokeh effect. Additionally, you will enjoy a smooth, quiet rotation when using the aperture ring, making it ideal for video applications.
The macro lens impresses with minimal field curvature, uniform sharpness across the entire image field, and low distortion. It is particularly well-suited for capturing small objects as faithfully as possible at a scale of 1:1. It allows you to get very close to a subject without causing the image to blur, resulting in stunning close-ups with high detail richness.
This lens can only be focused manually. Although manual focusing may take longer and is more challenging than working with autofocus, it offers several advantages: it allows you to focus precisely on the point you want, enabling shots that align perfectly with your vision. In situations where autofocus would struggle—such as in low light, on smooth surfaces with little texture, or in foggy weather—you will prefer to focus manually.
