The 3M Heat Shrink Tubing HDT-AN is a thick-walled, halogen-free heat shrink tubing made from modified, cross-linked polyolefin. It is suitable for use on all plastic and mass cables for installations both indoors and outdoors, as well as for underground installations. It serves to insulate and seal connections of all kinds, particularly as an outer sleeve for control cable assemblies. For better sealing, it features an adhesive coating on the inner wall. The highly aging-resistant heat shrink tubing is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. Its shrink ratio is four to one, and it can be used in a temperature range from -55 °C to +130 °C. It is not self-extinguishing.
