The MDT-A heat shrink tubing is a medium-walled shrink tube series with hot melt adhesive, designed to provide reliable performance for electrical splices, connections, and terminations up to 1.0 kV, while offering mechanical and environmental protection. MDT-A shrink tubes feature a halogen-free, cross-linked polyolefin outer wall and a factory-applied adhesive layer on the inside.

The MDT-A heat shrink tubing is a halogen-free, medium-walled heat shrink tube made from cross-linked polyolefin with a hot melt adhesive coating. The hot melt adhesive penetrates all unevenness and cavities, preventing moisture ingress.

The MDT-A heat shrink tubing is suitable for insulating plastic and mass cables up to 0.6/1 kV, for installation both outdoors and underground. The aging-resistant heat shrink tubing is UV resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. It can be used in a temperature range of -55 °C to +130 °C.

With its high shrink ratio of 4.5 to 1, you can accommodate large diameter jumps with just one tube. The MDT-A heat shrink tubing meets technical requirements according to IEC 60684 and is approved by Lloyds Register of Shipping, certificate 95/30032(E5). It is halogen-free and RoHS compliant.
