The 3M Heat Shrink Repair Sleeves HDCW are designed for the quick and secure repair of damaged cable sheaths for low and medium voltage cables. The inside is coated with a hot-melt adhesive, providing a waterproof seal on all plastic and metal sheaths. An outer coating with temperature indicator paint shows the end of the shrinking process through a color change. A stainless steel strip serves as a closure, which can be removed after the sleeve has cooled. The repair sleeve is made of cross-linked polyolefin. It is UV resistant and halogen-free.
