The No Polish Connector (NPC) enables quick on-site installation of bend-resistant cables with bend-insensitive single-mode fibers, ranging from 1.6 to 3 mm in thickness. The SC/PC and SC/APC compatible connectors feature a factory-polished ferrule and a mechanical splice that can be installed without any installation tools. A screwed-on sleeve secures the aramid fiber within the threads and clamps the cable jacket by compressing the jacket holder. Both connectors use standard flat splices for the connection. System integrators and installers for communication companies and private networks will find that this connector offers the simplest way to make terminations on-site, enhancing cable management within buildings or in outdoor installations.
