Ellie is an evolution of the universal L-mount, offering users increased compatibility with a wider range of cameras and advanced functions.

L-mounts are mainly used to switch from landscape to portrait format in the tripod while maintaining the focal plane and horizon line.

Ellie PD is specifically designed to work with Peak Design's Capture Clip system. It has a standardised Arca-Swiss compatible foot that locks securely into the Capture.

Compatible with standardised Arca-Swiss clamps, Ellie offers two different screw mounting holes on the base. This allows users to place the L-bracket in the optimum position for their camera. The length of the mount base can be adjusted thanks to two rigid stainless steel slide rails, which are then fixed in place by the user using the tool provided. The rear edge of the base is bevelled to facilitate access to the screen. Ellie's vertical aspect has an opening on one side that allows users with L-shaped cable plugs to connect accessories. This opening can be placed in one of four positions by inverting or flipping the vertical aspect.
